"This must surely rank as one of the very best compilation musicals for many a long year. The Richard Maltby Jr.'s realisation is a joy to listen to; the performers are a joy to listen to and, of course, the music made famous by the Man in Black himself is a joy to listen to. I believe it is a benchmark against which other compilation musicals can be judged - up there with "Jersey Boys" for sheer enjoyment.

"I've been waiting for the cast album of "Ring of Fire" to come out for months. The singing and musicianship of this cast was amazing on Broadway, and I'm glad to get to hear it in my car whenever I want. The cast took Johnny Cash's songs and put their own experiences and voices into them. Highly recommended."
