"This Cd contains 15 tracks, which are completely beautiful. Isabel Weicken is EVITA, Alexander Goebel is CHE, Reinhard Glemnitz is PERON and Lilo Raab is the MISTRESS. The songs are:1. Requiem-Oh What a Circus! 2. Interlude 3. On This Night Of A Thousand Stars 4. Buenos Aires 5. Goodnight and Thank You 6. I'd Be Surprisingly Good For You 7. Another Suitcase In Another Hall 8. A New Argentina 9. Don't Cry For Me, Argentina 10. High Flying, Adored 11. Rainbow High 12. And The Money Kept Rolling In (And Out) 13. Waltz For Eva and Che 14. She is a Diamond 15. Lament All song are beautiful. Rainbow High begins with the choir, they eliminated (I don't really think...)Of course the CD is sung in GERMAN. It's a Master Piece and is the ORIGINAL VIENNA CAST. It's a shame that is a excerpt CD, but it doesn't worth 5 stars it worth 10 stars. Even is you don't speak or know german buy this CD is splendid. Isabel Wicken is one of the best interpreter of EVITA."

"I bought this CD being very excited to hear the German Cast of Evita, but was very disappointed in the casting choices. I have a large collection of Evita discs from around the world, but unfortunately this one doesn't rank high on the list. The German adaptation of Tim Rice's lyrics meld beautifully with the music written by Lloyd Webber. Unfortunately I can't say the performers meld very well with the music--at least not the title character portrayed by Isabel Weicken. Although she adds a certain charisma to the part her vocal abilities with the part are limited. She doesn't portray the feeling or the thought behind Evita with her voice, a great disadvantage to any cast album. However, Weicken is strongly supported by her co-stars, which is a welcome relief to listen to. Lilo Raab (Peron's Mistress) sings a beautiful, heartfelt Solo of "Wohin Soll Ich Jetzt Geh'n?" (Another Suitcase in Another Hall). and Reinhard Glemnitz (Peron) delivers a strong and passionate portrayal in "Wie ein Diamand." Alexander Goebel portrays Che interestingly, but he wouldn't win a Tony in the U.S. for best supporting actor in a musical. He is too blase with the Requiem in the beginning and is at times nasiated. This wouldn't be my first choice to listen to if interested in Evita Casts. I would recommend the Dutch Cast superbly...."
