"The music of Alan Silvestri("Romancing The Stone"/"Identity") is always a welcome addition to any film. I have come to recoginze immediately, his unmistakeable stylish flair for capturing the feel and mood of any film he has scored. The music always offers a unique energy that will have you attention right from the opening credits.



The score and music of "No Mercy" is definitive of his talents.

From the opening of the main title to the theme("Our Love"),performed eloquently by Michael McDonald, Silvestri's music gives the perfect feel to this suspenseful and romantic thriller. Much of the film takes place in some really steamy parts of New Orleans, and the music puts you right there, with it's sultry and sexy attitude. It tells the story, right along with the actors. If you have seen the film, you can relive the moments, of the hot and sweaty dance club, the chase, the tension, the torrid romance, and the action. Even if you havn't seen it, the music stands on it's own. It is energetic, moving and at times even soothing.



Sounds great on the Stereo,I like to listen to this one while working around the house, it gives me a great lift and it's a good buy as well. One that will be played over and over.
