"This cd set of The Mercury Theatre On the Air is oustanding. For years I have tried to search for cd verions of Dracula and The War if Worlds in vain. Thanks to this cd collection and high quality of the recording it was worth the wait. Dracula is the treasure here. Orson plays a number of roles and the acting of all the Mercury Theate players is the superb. This is a true gem for any fan of Orson, in the words at of Orson himself..."There are wolves there are vampires,such things do exsist"."

"What this collection has is two of the best of the Mercury Theater.... War of the War and Dracula



Each showcasing the magic of the talents of Orson Welles with ther Mercury Theater backing him up. There are no extras on this two CD collection. There does not need to be, Nothing is better than these two productions. The one thing I will say is there is a limit amount of Welles's Mercury Theater out there. Two of the Best are Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL and Les Miserables [1937 Radio Dramatization]



The sound quality is slight tinny. It needs to be slightly remastered. You do feel the feeling of old radio



This is Orson's Best..so get this and enjoy this
