"I have the original vinal LP. I was truly hoping that the listing of songs shown for the CD was a partial list. The original album was a double record set.I am disappointed that the CD is incomplete. There were some nice ( and different) pieces on the original LP.If the complete version is availabe somehow,I would like to know how to get it."
Some of the best Christmas music available

"I loved this album on vinyl when I was younger, and I love it on CD now. I almost bought this particular release until I stumbled across the British import, which you can find by searching for B00005QZJD, which includes the all important Caroling Medley. There are still a few songs missing from the original double-album release, but until we get a full-length version, I think it's the next best thing.Beautiful harmonies, wonderful arrangements, Christmas music at its best."
An unfinished holiday memory

"The 8 missing songs really take away from, what for me was a treasured holiday memory. Also the remixing of some of the songs to include Marie, changes, and I think almost ruins the distinctive Osmond family harmonies. All in all I would recomend this CD to anyone. Having grown up listening to the original version of this album on 8-track, it brings back many memories of my childhood. The record company would do well to re-rerelease this album in its original form."
Need for the other half of the original

"The long wait is over! Partially over, at least! I searched high and low for this album which was THE Christmas album of my youth. I had the original vinyl of this album and loved it tremendously. I'd play it even in the middle of the year. I am so happy that I finally found a copy of the album. However, it pains me to see that the present CD only has half of what was in the LP. I sorely miss the other songs, especially the one that goes "Carolling, carolling, here we go.....Christmas bells are ringing. "The Christmas Carolling Medley," I think it was called. Aren't the Osmonds going to come out with this other half of the original recording? We will be intently waiting to find out."
