"edit 2009-apr-18: i see now that amazon stocks this title. ignore my earlier comment about its unavailability.
i just bought, downloaded and am very much digging a handful of ott songs (not all on this release): 'smoked glass and chrome', 'splitting an atom', 'mi-loony-um (a floating butterfly stings like a bee)' and 'lsd (world sheet of closed string mix)'. it may not be too kosh to send you folks elsewhere, but seeing that father amazon doesn't stock this title, i'll let you in on a litle secret: audiolunchbox.
if hearing the standard 'if you like shpongle, you'll love ott' doesn't do it for you, go to said website and listen to the samples and become a believer: ott does some awesome stuff. it's truly a breath of fresh air in a very stale roomful of largely thoughtless, unimaginative techno. i eagerly look forward to future releases by this very promising artist."

"Blumenkraft (or "Flower Power" in German) is the definition of ethereal harmonic perfection. A blissful mix of ambient/chillout/dub/psychedelic/reggae. Blumenkraft has quite a diverse feel. With its rich bass, rhythmic melodies, and at times haunting vocals, Ott pulls you outta the club and out for a ride to the African plane, the islands of the Caribbean and to the misty forests of Asia. Totally awesome and extremely listenable: in the car, chilling out, as background tunes, or to go to sleep. Everyone who has heard me play this cant help but groove to it. If you know what ails you, buy this album."

"Ethnic Fusion, Ambient Trance and Electronica music delivers the best vibes you can ever get from music. If you are bored with the monotonous over played pop and hip-hop, you will get the ultimate high you need from this album. This album was referred to me because of my love for this type of music and I am more than satisfied every time I listen to it. This is recognizable audio art for the mind."
I can't believe it. Just incredible.

"I'm not going to pretend like I know how to review music because I don't, but I can't just sit here and not say something about this album. So, here it goes...WOW!There it is. I don't know what it is about the Twisted Records label, but what a tremendous group of talent there. Ott's "Blumenkraft", along with Shpongle, are breathing fresh air into a genre that has been tiring over the last few years. For those of you who think most electronic genres are silly, just listen to "Blumenkraft" for a completely new perspective on music. Favs: "Splitting an Atom" and "Smoked Glass and Chrome". I just love a good melody. Cheers!"
