The passion of flamenco mixed with the innovation of jazz

"I miss the strums of traditional flamenco, but Ottmar Liebert here exerts absolute mastery over his guitar, and it's like hearing his voice translated into the guitar sounds. There's passion and poetry here in these pieces. The spanish flavor of the flamenco sound will stir your blood. At the same time, there are improvisational jazz utterances to surprise and delight. This is music that's sure to speak to you and I do highly recommend it to one and all."
