"Ozzy has had more successful comebacks than anyone else in the music business. After being fired from Black Sabbath, he released "Blizzard of Ozz," one of the most influencial albums of all time. He then plunged into depression after his guitarist and best friend Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash, but came back with the decent "Bark at the Moon." He then released the terrible "Original Sin" and although it was an improvement over the previous album, "No Rest for the Wicked" was pretty weak too. "No More Tears" brought Ozzy back into the mainstream, and it was one of his best albums of all time.
1. Mr. Tinkertrain 10/10- The perfect song to let everyone know that Ozzy was back, and a great opening song. Great riffs and vocals, as well an amazing solo by Wylde make this outstanding.
2. I Don't Wanna Change the World 9/10- Great riff and solo make this song worthwhile. Check out the live version, it's even better (and it got Ozzy a Grammy!).
3. Mama, I'm Coming Home 10/10- Ozzy biggest hit is very well written and has great lyrics. My favorite part is the chorus with "Mama.... I'm coming hooooome;" Ozzy and the backing vocalists sound great.
4. Desire 5/10- One of the singles, is forgettable at best. Nothing really special about it, not even the solo.
5. No More Tears 10/10- Ozzy's best song of all time and one of my personal favorites. Haunting bass and keyboards start this out and show up again in the middle right before it gives way to Wylde's best solo ever. If you have only heard the edited radio version you are missing out on alot.
6. S.I.N. 10/10- I still can't figure out what it stands for, but is a good song anyway. Possibly Ozzy's darkest song, but has another great solo by Wylde.
7. Hellraiser 7/10- Has a great chorus but the verses suck as does Ozzy's voice in the verses. Decent intermission and solo.
8. Time After Time 9/10- A decent song that is overplayed on radio stations. Somewhat sappy, I like still like it but can't figure out why it was such a great hit.
9. Zombie Stomp 7/10- One of my favorite intros ever is wasted on a mediocre song and Ozzy's vocals suck.
10. A.V.H. 10/10- Can't figure out what this stands for either but it is possibly the best Ozzy song that no one's heard of. Zakk Wylde has another remarkable solo, but would have been a good song even without it.
11. Road to Nowhere 10/10- At first I thought it was stupid until I really listened to it. The lyrics avoid being sappy and has a great guitar riff and solo by Wylde.
12. Don't Blame Me 6/10- I can see why the didn't put this on the original album, the riff isn't that likeable and the same with the solo.
13. Party with the Animals 3/10- Thank goodness for the skip button. The only noteable thing about this song is that it was on the "Buffy" (the movie) soundtrack.
Ozzy is a genius because even though he isn't that good of a singer (even though I like him) he is always smart enough to make it up by writing great songs and surrounding himself with amazing musicians. Zakk Wylde is one of my favorite guitarists of all time and the bass line in "No More Tears" by Mike Inez is unforgettable, he would later become famous in Alice in Chains; Randy Castillo is decent too. Although "Blizzard of Ozz" is Ozzy's most influencial album, "No More Tears" is definitely his best and I would recommend it for any rock fans."

"If one had to compare albums by Ozzy from one to the other, I would have to say that No More Tears is the technically-supperior bastard son of The Ultimate Sin. The only thing that saves No More Tears from reaching that level of hypocrisy is that it has Zakk Wylde on it. And something about Zakk and his love of playing guitar keeps the monsters under the bed and the boogeymen in the closet. No More Tears was mostly co-written with non-Ozzy personnel. Lemmy from Motorhead helped the Ozzman out on a few tunes (in fact there were two versions of the song Hellraiser, the Ozzy version and the Lemmy version. Wow! Yawn!) Overall, this is a solid Ozzy outing, don't get me wrong, it's just tainted around the edges by too many fingers is all. Ozzy is best when it's just him and the band writing their own sh*t. Face it. Otherwise can it truly be considered Ozzy? Not really. Anyway. There are a few standouts here. Mama, I'm Coming Home. Zombie Stomp. Mr. Tinkertrain is very creepy in the way that Ozzy soundz like a child-molester. And of course, the title track, No More Tears. Very polished album. Very structured. Just not Ozzy's best work, or most honest.
Dig It!"
A classic, for sure!

"Wow, what a great album! Ozzy is amazing! You can't even pick out a favorite, all of these songs are great. It's got awesome heavy songs and three incredible ballads. Randy Rhoads is definitely missed, but no one could listen to this and deny that Zakk Wylde was a great replacement. If you haven't bought this album, you simply must. And, if you ever have a chance to see him in concert, do it, it is amazing. I've only seen him with Sabbath and he didn't do any of this stuff, but it was still great. If there's one thing you can say about this album, it's that it rules. Amazing lyrics, amazing guitar, just amazing! Buy now! Oh, and if anyone out there knows what A.V.H. stands for, please E-mail me and let me know."

"As I said in the title this is one of the best albums that ozzy made. Ozzy made this album being sober and i respect him for that. What is even better is that he made this album being sober and it is a great album. Read on to find what each song is rated. you may find my rating style is different but you'll get used to it.
Mr. Tinkertrain 78/100 I seriously don't know if it's just my Cd but at the very end of this song it ends really weird. I have to listen to another version to compare but because of the bad ending and scary, creepy lyrics i have to give this a C+. Ozzy sounds like a males......
I don't want to change the world 91/100 A very good song but the Live version is so so much better. But obviously this song is good too. The chorus is very addictive. A-
Mama I'm coming Home 93/100 This is a great song but the thing is it is a little too bit southern.... During this album Ozzy was immensly frustrated with Zakk Wylde's fascination for southern rock. But Ozzy let it go and made great songs like this.
A
Desire 89/100 I don't know why everybody is dissin' this song. i mean the lyrics and vocals from ozzy are great and the riff is amazing. good song B+
No more tears 98/100 SO CLOSE TO PERFECT!!!!!!! This is obviously one of the best songs on the album. It has a mind-blowing riff, a great bass line and great lyrics. One of the best chorus's on the album A+
S.I.N. 95/100 This again is a very unique and powerful song. And by unique i mean very goood. I love the "Whoa. Who turned out the lights?" It is absolutly brilliant!! A
Hellraiser 95/100 3 GOOD SONGS in a row!!! Hellraiser has (in my opinion) the best chorus Ozzy has ever song!!! Its hard not to just scream along. A
Time after time 90/100 THis is a good song but just a little too repetitive. I mean almost everything rhymes with time. lol But you must respect ozzy because this is one of his best songs vocally.A-
Zombie stomp 91/100 This is an okay song but it takes about 2 minutes to get to it's climax!! The chorus gets to repetitive too. But it's still a good song thanks to the great bass line. A-
A.V.H. 90/100 Good song but there is really nothing to mention about it. Not a very memorable track. A-
Road to nowhere 94/100 Another great "mama i'm coming home" sort of track. Again we can see Zakk Wylde's use of his southern rock talents. A great addictive chorus. A
BONUS TRACKS:
Don't blame me 88/100 It sort of sounds like "I don't want to change the world" but on a different scale. The lyrics aren't bad but there really isn't anything special to mention about it except for the killer chorus. B+
Party with the animals 50/100 easily slides into 13th place. I mean seriously i might, just might listen to it if i listen to it on the radio, but if i had to put this on my Ipod i would slap myself silly. This is a bad song because ozzy's voice sucks, the guitar just sounds bored, and because it sounds like ozzy and his band wrote it in 1 hour in a smelly bus without food. F
In the end this is one killer album!!!! REALLY IF YOU LIKE OZZY YOU WILL LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!! GO OUT AND BYE THIS ALBUM QUICK!!!!"

"I'll never fully comprehend why it is that artists put out their best material - whether writing, music, films, art, poetry - during the most depressing times in their lives. ("No More Tears" was made when Ozzy was beset by legal and personal problems.)
It was interesting reading the note on the back of the remastered version (with the two extra tracks, "Don't Blame Me" and "Party With the Animals") that Ozzy "...plays this album all the time and I still think it sounds really good." I can't help but agree.
I popped this in the CD player and didn't realize the time until I looked at the playlist and saw it was nearing the end. I found myself singing aloud and just enjoying the rich sounds that came out of the CD. (I was also surprised to see that I remembered the words after all these years!)
I enjoyed "No More Tears" when it was first released in 1991 as a teenager and I enjoy it just as much today as a 30 year-old. Two particular tracks that haven't gotten as much attention as others that I really enjoy are "Hellraiser" and "A.V.H." Check them out.
Unfortunately, I tend to agree with a previous reviewer in that this was Ozzy's last really good album. This is chock full of strong, original material. His later works weren't up to par with "No More Tears" and "No Rest for the Wicked" and, in recent years, he's been living off the residual effect of his MTV reality series "The Osbournes." Through that, he became part of the Establishment with the same people who crucified and vilified him in the past now kissing his derriere (I'm so "old" I remember when I was labeled a "devil worshipper" in grade school for liking him. I'd bet those same people have jumped on his bandwagon today).
In any case, I'll always love Ozzy and cherish his contributions to music (and his love of my beloved Beatles).
