"This was definitely the best selling of all "Pacheco y su Charanga" "Alegre" Lp's of the early 60's. Featuring Manny Oquendo, on timbales, Jose"Chombo"Silva and Alberto Fajardo on violins, Rudy Calzado and Elliott Romero on chorus and of course, maestro Johnny Pacheco on flauta. "Que Suene La Flauta", "Acuyuye","Pita Camion", "Rosalia", "El Pin~azo", etc. etc. Produced by the late Al Santiago and his Alegre label,it was albums like this one which kept cuban music alive in the U.S. due to the 1960's cuban music "drought", caused by the Cold War. Great work by Pacheco, Santiago, et.al."
