Just beautiful

"I have played the Marcello oboe concerto, which is why I bought this cd..... the adagio to this piece of music is enthralling and wraps you up in a slightly haunting, utterly beautiful piece. I may be biased because I have played the piece, but if I can deal with a piece of music for months and months of practice and still enjoy it, it must be special. Pachelbel's Canon and the Albinoni are very famous and perhaps overplayed, but these versions remind me of Why they are so widely listened to... the entire collection is Lovely."

"This cd is excellent and provides some of the best baroque music for a very low price. My personal favorites are Pachelbel's Canon, of course and the adagio from Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto in D Major. Despite Pachelbel being used in countless movies and commercials, its still a great composition and the version that appears on this cd is the best I've heard. Buy this if you want maximum quality for minimum price or if you just want some excellent baroque music."
