"Page Cavanaugh is one of the great jazz oriented swing pianists around today(the exellent & more recent Page One & Page Two are proof of that), here on this cd his trio is featurred in a great concert from the late 60's. Here Cavanaugh puts his stamp on a difinitive version of "Summer Wind." There is also a little vocalising from Cavanaugh, his vocals are always a welcome pleasure(he sounds a little like a whispery and more mellow Mel Torme!), but the emphises is on Cavanaugh's hot piano playing, his trios usually have a guitar in place of drum, but on this rare outing he uses drum instead of Al viola's guitar. A classic cd of great jazz oriented SING, nobody swings harder that Page! Recommeded"
