"Pale Beneath the Blue is reminicent of Julianna Hatfield, Madonna's "Ray of Light" album, a spot of Natalie Imbruglia, or perhaps even a hint of The Cranberries, without attempting to be a "cover" band or glomming on to another band's style.
If I had any criticism, it would be that "Hologram" is a bit light with only six tracks, because once you're hooked on PBTB's songcraft, you naturally want more.
I found "Untitled" to be particularly evocative. All of the tracks are memorable, catchy, nicely done, and well worth your time."
