"Papa John Creach was the backup violinist for Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship for many years. He was "discovered" at the age of 50 and passed on by way of a heart attack at the age of 76. With this album, he is timeless. For some of the cuts on this album, he does his own vocals and there are background singers around him. Unlike his first album, "Papa John Creach", there seems to be over production at work in this album.Nevertheless, in "Stardust", "Fiddlin' Around" and another, Papa John and his "fiddle" is the lead soloist. As I have said before, Papa John can do with a violin what Izhak Perlman can't.This album explores blues, jazz and even disco.Add it to your Papa John Creach collection."
