"A great introduction to the amazing musical talent of some of the best songwriters and vocalists in France. Yes, it is "show tunes", but truly magnificent musical quality. Incredible spanish guitarwork in "Bohemien" and the hit "Belle" is classic French music at its finest. I have listened to this album over 100 times and never tire of it. If you can understand the words, you will especially appreciaty the poetry. We as Americans need to wake up to the musical talent that exists in the rest of the world. Heavilly influenced by us but also including magnificent extensions particular to the local taste. This is a MUST GET album for anyone wishing to experience an eye-opening introduction to modern French music."
