"Great CD. Lots of experimentation. Dissonant Tamboura in the background. Some of the heads (Israfel for instance) were actually developed by placing a modal scale next to the alfabet so that a sort of tone-code is possible and then texts that Martino found compelling can be "translated" into notes. Loved it. Strongly recommend. This is THE big boss weirdo of Acid Jazz Cd's."
