Amazon.comThe Pat McGee Band follows in the hallowed tradition of such classic rock regurgitators as Hootie and the Blowfish. While performed well, the resulting musical mush is overproduced and anonymous to the point of annoyance. If the lyrics aren't diving headfirst into clichés ("I have lost myself in only you / Hold on through / I am the one who still burns for you") they're simply ridiculous ("You will find me right inside she"). The most disappointing news comes from the album's credits, where former Talking Heads member Jerry Harrison is fingered as producer. The man who even managed to make Live sound distinctive can't pull this six-piece out of generic bar-band hell. --Jason Josephes
