"Patsy Gallant is Canada's own Disco Queen. This album was a huge hit for her in 1976; she toured the world promoting it and its mega singles "Sugar Daddy," and her biggest hit ever "From New York to L.A." The album is very well produced, flows well and contains a number of lost disco gems including the title track "Are You Ready for Love," the lush "World of Fantasy" and the single worthy "I Love you in the Morning." Patsy has a sweet, beautiful voice with an incredible upper range. Patsy is truly a camp and cult idol now and any avid disco lover needs to get this album."

"This obscure Canadian singer was one of the great female voices of the disco era in the 1970s. The song From New York To LA was a huge hit and filled many a dancefloor in those days. But this album with its many soulful ballads proves that Patsy was more than just a dance phenomenon.
Are You Ready For Love and I Love You In The Morning are great R&B ballads, the first one co-written by disco genius Pete Bellotte. Then follows the evocative uptempo disco classic From NY To LA and her other chart hit Sugar Daddy, a mid tempo dance number with a powerful drum break and stunning vocals. Precious Love is embellished by the most amazing sax and trumpet flourishes.
World Of Fantasy is a slow, soulful ballad, It's Raining This Morning is a pop ballad with varied tampo and I'll Never Let You down is a tuneful love song where her voice really gets a chance to soar. Angie is a sad rock ballad with lovely instrumentation and the Together Again, an uptempo ballad. This CD re-release contains 2 extra tracks: the French version of Sugar Daddy and a remix of From New York To LA."
