"one more of britains great bands that never made it over the pond.this is THE patto album...all you guitar players out there' buy this if only for :loud green song; IT WILL FLOOR YOU!!!! Ollie Halsal was one of those guitar players who died young and never got the recognition he deserved...buy this damn album.. great playing..a great band ''with a wicked sense of humour!!!!"

"Mike Patto, what a great talented singer with all energy to boot. Ollie Halsal could take on any guitar player with his free style of hard jamming riffs and speed. "Singing the Blues On Reds" is a great tune and mike shows his unigue singing style on this one. Mike Patto died so early and he and Ollie never got there just dues but true fans will always match them against most bands. These english blokes had various influences in jazz and rock and this album is one that any true musician can learn from. If you look back on one of the last Spooky Tooth albums you can find Mike holding down lead vocals. Also his other band with Ollie "Boxer is a kick in the pants. Long live you Mike and Ollie."

"All the reviews, so far speak the truth. Their is a reason for Alvin Lee to have preferred to share Patto's tour bus, while on tour with Ten Years After. These guys could really hold a groove... I have 3 consecutive Patto albums. This is the one to have. Originally I got this on vinyl (new, for a dollar), couldn't make up my mind about it, mainly due to the 'stoned' reveree of 3 or 4 tracks (sold it, I was only 16), & later bought the same copy back from a friend, who bought it at a market at the other end of the state. It is now among my most treasured albums. Halsall was a major talent, equally at home on keyboards, and a master of guitar. This is less dense than the first 2 albums (both good) but is all the better for the restrained grooves of most of these cuts. Oddly similiar to Company Caine's 'Product of a Broken Reality'."
