Beautiful Music - Not To Be Missed

"Paul Carrack is one of the all-time great songwriters with one of the best set of pipes in music today. This album further proves his talent with ten songs which run the gamut from haunting to absolutely toe-tapping. It's unfortunate that most of his very best albums (specifically "One Good Reason" and "Groove Approved") are no longer in print, but this one is a true gem and one that shouldn't be missed."

"Being a drummer/singer growing up in Miami,I've played in R&B, Funk,& Soul bands for the last 40 yrs. My love of music, and the playing of it lay in there. There is No Doubt Paul Carrack is in my top 5 all time Soulful singers.

Not only has he the voice of Doom!! but listen to his playing of Drums, Guitars, Keys, and much more. All come out on his recordings as soulful as his voice.

When ever you can.. buy as many CD's you can get your hands on...

When you get finished listening to the top part of the records..fine tune your ears on each instrument..each chord..each word..each bridge..verse..hook..and the incredible soulful bending of what he was blessed with... his voice.. That can only come from inside!!!"

"I hate to spoil the review party, but as a long-time member of the Carrack appreciation society I am not pleased that his uniqueness has gotten submerged in his quest for popularity. This album shows a substantial decline in distinction over Blue Views and it points the way to the slick and vapid Satisfy My Soul, the album after this one. If Kohl's department store isn't your favorite music environment give a listen to Carrack's earlier work, Suburban Voodoo. In his MOR phase, Blue Views is quite a decent effort. I'm not pleased to see the blanding of Paul Carrack, but something similar happened to his 70s band Ace."
