Not really "Best Of", but almost his complete 1980 album!

"The title, "The Very Best of Paul Davis / I Go Crazy," is a total misnomer for this album, especially with its release date of 2003. Anyone hoping for all of Davis's hits will be sorely disappointed, as it is missing songs such as "Cool Night," "'65 Love Affair," "Love or Let Me Be Lonely," and others. Basically, the producers put 7 of the 9 songs from Paul's 1980 self-titled album together (minus the two hits, "Do Right" and "Cry Just a Little", which are easily found on other "Best of" albums), then rounded it out by adding the three hits from his 1977 album, "I Go Crazy," "Sweet Life," and "Darlin'," - it certainly fills a niche for people trying to find the songs from the 1980 album without paying for a very expensive import copy of that album, but is a far stretch from a "Best of" album.
Since I already had the other two songs on CD, I just burned myself a homemade listening copy of the 1980 album, using 7 songs from this CD and 2 from the other one I had. Voila - my long-sought after copy of the 1980 "Paul Davis" album. And Paul certainly didn't disappoint with the album - a voice as sweet as honey, sentimental lyrics, and a great delivery!"
