2009 two CD collection of unreleased tracks from the Godfather of Goth and the '80s Dark Romantic movement. England's Psychpop guru Paul Roland, dubbed 'the male Kate Bush' by one time label mate Robyn Hitchcock, has released 15 albums since his highly collectible debut The Werewolf Of London in 1980, some of which featured the presence of other cult artists such as Robyn Hitchcock, Bevis Frond, Nick Nicely, Andy Ellison of John's Children and various members of Caravan. Members of the Velvet Underground and film composer Michael Nyman also offered to work with Roland who celebrates his 30 years in the music business this autumn by releasing a double CD of unreleased tracks including the complete soundtrack he created earlier this year for the controversial cult silent horror movie Haxan.
