The Master Returns

"If you've seen him live, you'll be very happy with this. It's much more like his Politics of Dancing CDs than the In Between or Reflections releases. However, if you liked the remixes of those (disk 2s), than you'll also be very happy. I'm still deciding which disk I like better because this isn't like a lot of the double-disk sets out there where the 1st one is the Day disk and the 2nd one is the Night disk. They're both high energy if that's what you like."
Both CD's are great!

"I've listened to both CD's in this compilation a few times, and I must say I like them both a lot. They are different styles though. The first is definitely more house-type music. My first reaction to it was "is this PVD?". I'm used to the crisp, trance-like beat from his previous cds - it's definitely a bit different than his previous compilation CDs. However, the more I listen to it the more I like it, and the tempo and beat pick it up towards the end. I like how CD1 ends with PVD's own "New York City." CD2 is the PVD I've come to expect - great tracks with a great beat. Not sure if the mix is better than Tiesto's ISOS 7 I purchased earlier this year, but I'm definitely happy with this purchase."

"This is new Paul van Dyk. What I like about this artist is that each of his cd mix compilations is different and great at the same time. For those who know The Politics of Dancing, The Politics of Danicng 2 be ready for new PvD! Cream Ibiza Paul van Dyk is mixture of trance, house, and dance. When I first listened to CD #1 it remind me of afterhours, but it has a lot of well mixed house tracks + some trance tracks and it is very energetic. You could definitelly feel there atmosphere of this world famous club/island. CD # 2 is what you expect from this artist. Those who have seen him life know what I'm talking about...:)! It's trance and especially last 8-10 tracks are sick! Knowing that PvD is not a type of artist who would make CD's just for number and $ you would really enjoy it. This is a master, who always will surprise every fan of electronic music in a good way of course!"
About Time

"I've only listened to CD #1 thus far and it seems to me that many reviewers here have not actually had the pleasure of attending one of Paul van Dyk's live sessions. CD #1 is a very good representation of what his recent DJ sessions have been like - and I now finally have it on CD. In general you could say it more accurately reflects the experience of attending one of his concerts over the years than do any of his recent albums (particularly his latest which seem to attempt to enter the arena of "pop" with somewhat poorly matched vocals to otherwise brilliant music).
Paul van Dyk live in concert is unparalleled. If you've already purchased this CD and are unhappy with it, salvage your purchase by watching for upcoming local gigs and buying tickets. You'll appreciate CD #1 infinitely more.
If you're contemplating this purchase, do it simply for the reason of listening to the sheer brilliance of Paul van Dyk's seamless weaving of 24 songs into the timespan of just over 65 minutes.
I must now sign off to listen to CD #2... :-)"
No longer in "between"

"I was really scared when i listened to in between last year,I thought Paul van Dyke just lost it.To me it was a really cheap album like Britney Spears.
fortunately Cream reminds me of the best Paul van
Dyke can be,it's like being at Amnesia or Space Miami, the first cd is more progressive house, not my style but pretty good tracks, the second cd is real trance ,very nice ,it's what you expect.
I think it is one of the best mix Paul Van Dyke has done so far.
