The Master Returns

(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you've seen him live, you'll be very happy with this. It's much more like his Politics of Dancing CDs than the In Between or Reflections releases. However, if you liked the remixes of those (disk 2s), than you'll also be very happy. I'm still deciding which disk I like better because this isn't like a lot of the double-disk sets out there where the 1st one is the Day disk and the 2nd one is the Night disk. They're both high energy if that's what you like."
Both CD's are great!

"I've listened to both CD's in this compilation a few times, and I must say I like them both a lot. They are different styles though. The first is definitely more house-type music. My first reaction to it was "is this PVD?". I'm used to the crisp, trance-like beat from his previous cds - it's definitely a bit different than his previous compilation CDs. However, the more I listen to it the more I like it, and the tempo and beat pick it up towards the end. I like how CD1 ends with PVD's own "New York City." CD2 is the PVD I've come to expect - great tracks with a great beat. Not sure if the mix is better than Tiesto's ISOS 7 I purchased earlier this year, but I'm definitely happy with this purchase."
