Katz | Peoples Republic Of Massachussettes | 06/09/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "Take a listen to clips.It is Kenny Barron and well known (in Europe) alto man George Robert.Great song selection from two who have worked together on CD numerous times.You can tell there is a mutual appreciation not just familiarity.Yes at times I can be find Barron huge repertoire repetitive but his excellence is what has given him the chance to be that exposed and his choicest LP's are a treasure.And Robert can sound a bit derivative of Phil Woods (they have and excellent two alto summmit CD).But this live performance is one you'll say "This is great.I wish I had been in the audience"
