Outstanding Material

"Pee Wee Crayton's Imperial material is by far his best. He learned how to play guitar from the master himself, T-Bone Walker. He went on to record some wonderful T-Bone infused original blues. Like others have mentioned, it is most unfortunate that this disc is OOP. However, the search for it and cost at a bit of a premium is well worth it."

"This CD contains Pee Wee Crayton's blues classics of the good old days. The sound is raw. Pee Wee's vocal is young and smooth. Conversations with rythm section is humorous. Good CD. So, I say go for it!"

"Pee Wee is known as one of the most jazzy blues master. His orchestration has quite a different flavour. Influenced by T-Bone Pee Wee's guitar swings, however the way he communicates with other instruments is somewhat different. When the piano throws a tril, Pee Wee's guitar does not respond spontaneously... there is some moment before he responds. This creates a different groove, and unique atmosphere of Pee Wee's blues."
Such a great CD...

"This is such a great blues CD. I do not understand why the record company stopped making. You will recognize how great it is only from the samples. You can also see several blues CD reviews. Pee Wee has quite a few CDs released. This is the best of all."
One of the greatest blues CD.

"Pee Wee is one of the giants in blues. If you have ever heard of Jimi Hendrix's ":blues" you know how much influence Jimi got from Pee Wee. Pee Wee did not release many albums unfortunately. As far as I know, this CD is the only and the greatest Pee Wee blues album. 'Click'"
