"What amazes me in this CD was the ability of everyone involved to adapt to a new formation. Jim was away cause he had quit the band temporarily (?) so he could have more time to deal with personal life affairs and Jason Thirsk, the bassist and talented composer/writer for the band took his place and called Randy (who was his bass teacher) to play bass in this record.



Jason's vocals are amazing!!!! Not as yelled out as you would expect from a Pennywise singer but he has (had unfortunately) nice singing twists and vibrato like Jello Biafra. Bass playing is obviously better than in the previous record cause hey, Jason was still a student and here we're talking about his teacher.



The curious thing about the sound of this record is that some songs have heavy-metal-ish riffs and pace in some parts and every song has a mind of its own. Definately a CD to have! And it's the CD Jason showed with more diversity his talents of songwriting and performance. From start to finish, a freaking masterpiece!"
