"Here is another reissiue I can't stop listening to.Corazon from 1973 has a lot of great easy listening music on it.Percy's version of When I fall in love is featured here and other great songs.Our Love is just an instrumental version of Percy Faith's a world of whispers which is on Todays themes for young lovers and is very beautiful on this album.My heart cries for you and someone who cares are also beautiful.Corazon is accompined by the chrous.The more beautiful album My love also from 1973 features his versions of Sing,Killing me softley,The twelfth of never,And I love her so,pillow talk and others.Also And I Love
Her So got a lot of play on beautiful music stations.Sometimes you can still here it on jones.edu at wktz,one of the few beautiful music stations still playing this type of music.And I Love Her so is so lush and beautiful.My love is just orchestra but the wordless chrous dominates You are the Sunshine of my life and Pillow talk.Liner notes for Corazon are included.Liner notes for My love wern't included."

"There's a little bit of everything in the two albums "Corazon" and "My Love" ~ what I mean is old ballads, latin melodies and lush arrangements that will keep your record collection alive today and many years to come. Many of these selections are treasures not to be found anywhere else, but in the realm of the "Percy Faith Touch", and all of the Faith fans know what I'm talking about.Opening and title track "CORAZON", the Carole King tune became a big hit, and with the instrumental by Percy it became a classic ~ "BEAUTIFUL OBSESSION" and "OUR LOVE", are old Faith favorites that have surfaced and resurface many times before, never get tired of hearing them with new arrangements ~ "SOMEONE WHO CARES", the Alex Harvey composition has Percy's signature on it, this was meant to be orchestrated and performed by the "Great Percy Faith Orchestra", just listen as the musicians enjoy every note penned by our legendary arranger/composer ~ "WHEN I FALL IN LOVE", the brilliant Victor Young song, remember when I first heard this by Nat "King" Cole, but take note as the strings respond to the baton of Maestro Faith, a classic within a classic.Second half of the CD "My Love", takes us into the early '70s hits and the artist composers like Paul & Linda McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Rankin, Paul Simon, Don McLean, Bobby Russell, Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel ~ "YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE", "PEACEFUL", "THE TWELFTH OF NEVER", "KODACHROME", "AND I LOVE HER SO", "THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OUT IN GEORGIA", "KILLING ME SOFTLY WITH HER SONG" ~ all with the same overwhelming arrangements that have given so much pleasure over the years.My highlight pick is "VIVA VIVALDI", because of the nature of the piece, what a challenge and treat this must have been for Faith to arrange and perform this selection ~ gotta love it!Total Time: 71:43 on 22 Tracks ~ Collectables 7476 ~ (2/19/2002)"

LISTENING TO THESE SONGS IS LIKE A TRANQUILIZER TO THE EARS AND MIND."
