Mediocre and repetitive

"I came across "Perfecto Greatest Hits" the other day in the used cd bins. I immediately picked it up because I liked a lot of the songs on the cd, namely the Paul Oakenfold tracks as well as songs by BT, PPK, and Jan Johnston. Much to my disappointment I found the 2-cd compilation to be one big headache. I found the majority of the songs absolutely repetitive and annoying. The songs I did like that weren't by Oakey, BT, PPK, and Jan Johnston was Skip Raiders' "Another Day" which samples Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings". I love the fusion of techno and classical music. Normally I can't stand Timo Maas (overrated German dj) but I like "To Get Down". It has a nice funky breakbeat rhythm to the song. Although predictable, I did like Ascension's "Someone Like You". Otherwise, songs like "Reach Up" (Perfecto Allstarz) and "Darklands" (Fabio & Grooverider) were horribly repetitive and got on my last nerves. I swear that Dope Smugglaz' "Double Double Dutch" sounds way too much like Hanson's "MmmmBop", a horrible pop song from back in the mid-90s. Overall I was completely disappointed with this compilation from Oakenfold's record label."
