"Los Pericos is an Argenitinean band that, on this particular CD, combines incredible reggae with touches of latin and afro-cuban rhythms. I know it sounds too eclectic to work, but it really does. Tight horn charts, cool guitar solos, skanking drums and bass. The grooves are definitely Jamaican in origin, and the lyrics are primarily in Spanish, but the overall effect is a dizzying concoction that demands you slide it into your car's CD player, roll down the windows and head for the beach, mon."
