"here are two of Pete's hard to find LPs released on a single CD. While the Bardot gatefold cover would have made a better cover for this release, it is included inside the insert. The recordings are been faithfully produced from original tapes and NOT vinyl (YAY). For being over 40 years old, they sound fabulous. This may not be the swingingest set of recordings by Pete, but they are flawlessly executed, thanks to a bevy of LA's finest studio jazz heavies. If you like Pete's arrangements and musical ideas, then you can't go wrong with this CD."
