"Maffay '96.From the first track to the last, this CD is a blast! It has: Real rock music, a touch of blues, and, ballads. Maffay has been called "Der rocker mit gefuehl" (The rocker with feeling) The fun starts with the upbeat :Ich sag , ja!" includes the tender and piogant (schaerfe) "Niemals gesagt" every couple on the verge of parting can indentify with the feeling in the voice and the meaning in this song. Then there is the cool and seductive "Meine Prinzessin". Come to my oasis, princess..come alone.. it's cool, but it's hot!Two versions of the encouraging "siehst du die Sonne" (the acoustic version quietly ends the album) display the versatility of the talented singer, guitarist, and songwriter, as well as his fine band. It impossible to pick a favorite. Maffay rocks the house with "Moment Mal" and "Hat Keinen Zweck" and shares a bit of philosophy and social consciousness with "Freiheit die ich meine"and "Kannst du das verstehn" "Der Rockiger mit die sonoren ( klangvoll) stimme" (The rocker with the sonorus voice), is a national treasure in Germany, and Maffay '96 offers some of his best work."
