"My favorite new cd! I first heard "Heart of Mine"--the song, in the film "Keeping The Faith"-- and I couldn't get it out of my head. But the whole cd is really good. Good hooks, smart lyrics, great voice, in the same orbit as Elliott Smith, Amee Mann, and Elvis Costello. My new favorites on the album are "Magdalene" and "Big Deal" though "Heart of Mine" is a beautiful song."

"Unlike these reviewers I have never seen Keeping the Faith. (Maybe I should?) A friend of mine brought me to see one of Peter Salett's shows in Philadelphia and I was completely blown away. At the show I bought a copy of Heart of Mine. The songs are great - a real honest quality to them and their easy to relate to. Memorable tunes that are easy to sing along to. I like Big Deal because it really shows off his voice, which is unbelievable. Don't miss a chance to see him live."
