Product DescriptionThe genre of sex education-movies boomed massively in Germany in the late 60s. The Perfect Marriage ('68) and Every Night of the Week ('69) were adaptions of a book by Dutch gynecologist Van de Velde. Peter Thomas (Space Patrol, Edgar Wallace) was asked to compose original scores for both films. Atypically for the veteran sound pioneer his score to The Perfect Marriage is outrageously romantic and of an eroticizing intensity. Almost the complete opposite is Every Night of the Week. Here Thomas is in his element again; contemporary jazz, beat arrangements, and unconventional use of the human voice dominate. Both scores are previously unreleased! The stylish CD packaging comes with a 24 pages booklet incl. detailed liner notes and an essay on sex education-movies (German and English) plus sexy color film stills.
