Very Disappointing

"Despite the claims in the item description, this is NOT the version of Peter and the Wolf listened to by kids in their living rooms from the 50s on. It would have been, had the recording been presented in its entirety. The MicroWerks version of the original Golden Records album is missing the entire introduction, where each instrument is connected to a character. Since this is one of the main points of this piece -- to introduce children to the instruments in the orchestra -- its omission is a glaring mistake. Furthermore, the story itself is shortened. The true Peter and the Wolf should run approximately 21 minutes. The version on this CD runs about 13. Finally, the other offerings on the CD are incorrectly listed (there is no Saggy Baggy Elephant). The tracks are: Peter and the Wolf (abridged, though not listed as such); Tawny Scrawny Lion; Little Fat Policeman; Mr. Flibberty Jib; and Scuffy the Tugboat. Don't waste your money on this one -- the audio quality isn't worth it. A real disappointment."
