CD ReviewsAbsolutely Bloody Crackin' Dope Educated Fiends (Mic Fiends) Darryn | Salisbury, England. | 04/04/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Many people are quick to dismiss anything hip-hoppish that comes out of the UK. The main reason being the accent, and also the production. Let me say, firstly, the beats are quality, this isn't anythin' you'd expect to hear in the US, west, east, south, these are UK BEATS. The production on the album could very well give UK hip-hop it's own sound, the one they've needed for so long, and just with one album. And secondly, the accents are only half noticeable, but combined with the MC's quality flow you won't even think twice about it, combine THAT with dope lyrics and a good charisma and you have yourself a complete package. If you want to download a song from this album, just to check it out, I'd recomend every one, if I had to chose one in particular, then get 'ABC', one of the BEST, and yes BEST Hip-Hop songs I've ever heard. Now I'm into two kinds of hip-hop, Underground, and PAC-hop, listening to Binary Star, Black Star, Gang Starr, Big L, right to Biggie and Pac, and still this song is as good as anything they've produced. The whole album is quality, 'Herbaholics', right to 'BBC'. The one minor flaw, and a VERY minor one is that the album may get a little too repetitive, it's a long album, some of the songs may start to sound the same over a few listens, but still it's a VERY worthwhile purchase an I STRONGLY reccomend it as a HIP-HOP fan.peace." On Point Mr. Haroon Ahmad Khan | Fareham, Hampshire, United Kingdom | 02/15/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Yep, this album is definitely on point. There are no wasted words as Phi Life Cypher deliver their commentary on social issues effecting residents of the UK in the form of their fluid and fast flows over nice production. A must have for the millenium." Too Good G | Bristol (UK) | 07/21/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Without doubt this is the best hip-hop album I have ever purchased, the lyrics are so Intelligent and will have your head bobbing through the whole album. If you like British hip-hop or just good hip-hop you have got to get this."
