"The is Newsboys but then, not. The same wit and sense of fun is in many of the songs, but they have a very personal feeling about them. The title track, "God is Watching Over You" is a terrific song - one that will make you move, smile and think all at once. Many of the songs have that 'get stuck in your head' quality - I've found myself humming them at odd moments. I get the feeling that it is aimed at a very young crowd, but I am 42 and loved it, as did my teens - in fact we've bought 3 copies - one for each of us. Newsboys fans should certainly check it out, other Christian music fans, I think it's worth a look."
This cd is sweet!

"Part of the reason I like this Cd so much is because I feel like Phil has given us all a little piece of his heart. The title song, God is Watching Over You, is really great...it makes me want to get up and dance and praise the Lord! Strangely Normal makes me feel that it ok to be a little strange, yet normal at the same time.El Salvador, Fragile and Together are so good it makes me wanna cry.Other tracks like Author of Life, Tonight (Not Fading Away),It's You, My Generation, and Be Number One are fresh and bouncy.Overall this cd is joyful, and clearly Phil Joel has a sound all his own!"

"This cd is soooooooo good, you've got to hear it. If you don't you are denying your ears hours of listening pleasure! If you love The News Boys you will definately LOVE this one. There are some fast more up beat songs and some slower ones. It is hard to pick a favorite song as they are ALL so good. There was not one song that I didn't like! I would have to say that El Salvador, Tonight & My Generation are my favorites. My kids and I share our cd's and they always take this one!!! Well done Phil, I hope that there will be more to come in the future"

"The Newsboys, who Phil Joel plays bass for, bring on rock music in their releases. Suprisingly, this is much on the calmer side, very CCMish. Even though I am a huge fan of the harder stuff, this is awesome!!!! Whodathunkit that Phil has such a good voice!!!You don't have to skip over any songs on this CD, they're all good. Its done in a flash (33 mins.), but you'll want to play it over & over. Great job, Phil. Can't wait to get his soph release. RECOMMENDED FOR ANY CCM OR NEWSBOYS FAN!!!!!"
