"I've been listening to Phil Keaggy for over 30 years as a contemporary Christian artist. Being a Beatle fan, I've always seen their influence in Keaggy's music. With his McCartneyesque singing style, he was a natural for this type of CD, covering some of the Beatle classics included here. My favorite track is 'God Only Knows' where he put his own style (not a bad thing) into the Beach Boys classic. As usual, all his guitar playing is top shelf! The non-Keaggy vocals are good, but I would have rather had him singing lead on all the tracks.
This is a good listening album. You won't be disappointed."
Just beautiful! Brings back memories...

"Phil's put together a collection of a lot of songs that were basically the soundtrack of my ol' school days, so listening to this album is memory time for me! It's great to hear him pay homage to these classic songs. Well done!"
Keaggy Plays Classic Pop Love Songs

"Phil Keaggy's roots in 60s pop/rock are hardly a well-kept secret, but here we have a real treat - Phil (along with a few friends and family members) playing a delightful collection culled from the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, James Taylor, the Everly Brothers, even Billy Joel and Cyndi Lauper.
In one form or another, all of these tunes are beautiful love songs, and it's not hard to imagine Phil sitting in a chair, singing them to his wife Bernadette. As I listened, I couldn't help musing on my own dear wife, and how much I love her - 'Something In the Way She Moves', indeed. . .
Thanks, Phil. . ."

"This CD brings a nostalgic contentment with fine guitar playing and good vocals. For those who have not "met" Phil Keaggy, this is just a sample of the variety this guitar master can bring."
