"A wonderful collection of Manzanera material recorded live in Spain. Some tracks are vaguely reminiscent of Santana with hints of the later sounds of Roxy Music (Avalon, Flesh & Blood era).The sonic imaging is very clear,open and precise. Usually, most fans tend to stay away from live recordings from their favorite artists for fear that much of the true essence of the sudio recording will be lost in the live translation.This is not so with a Million Reasons Why. Even though this recording was made in the late 80's it still sounds fresh;it doesn't sound outdated by any means.Tracks like Leyenda (legend), Southern Cross, and Tambor contain an infectious Latin feel. Female vocalist on Astrud is a warm and inviting presence;It has a very romantic,breezy, island-like ambiance...I can only think of a million reasons why anyone should buy this live recording from Manzanera..."
