"Well, Phil Stacy hit me in two areas that I really appreciate in music, Faith Oriented and Patriotic. I believe his faith in God shows through in the music that he sings, the lyrics are great, but you can hear the feeling in his voice as he sings. I find myself coming back to this CD over and over again.



The last song, "Old Glory" is quickly becoming my favorite patriotic song. I am a patriotic person and so I enjoy hearing the national anthem and other patriotic songs all the time. It looks as though Phil not only sings this song but wrote it. Keeping in mind that he was serving in the Navy at the time of his "Idol" debut this makes the song even more special, because he has lived the life of a military person.



Thank you Phil for a great album.

"I had no idea when I purchased this CD that it would quickly become my favorite. The music has an almost a vintage rock and roll flavor, the lyrics are inspiring. Phil Stacey did something that no other American Idol has done - he stuck to his principles and did not sell out. Most of these songs were written by Phil, and they are without a doubt the type of music he should be singing. Add a little American Pride and this CD is a home run. Buy it, Listen to the words, sing along - and enjoy!"
