In the late 70's, In an effort to draw attention to rejuvenating the ghettos of Philadelphia, Kenneth Gamble put together an album of Philadelphia International's biggest acts on Let's Clean Up The Ghetto (1977). Artist' include, Lou Rawls, The O'Jays, Billy Paul, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes amongst others. All tracks were recorded exclusively for the album and are unavailable elsewhere. Live On Stage (1982), recorded at Bailey's in Leicester, England in the mid-70's but not issued until 1982, features some of PIR's top stars (many and more of the aforementioned) delivering excellent renditions of their biggest hits.
