CD ReviewsA must have Michael | 03/16/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "This CD is a MUST HAVE, if you like woman with a nice tender voice and a bit of underground/underworld music this is a keeper. I absolutely recommend track 8 (Days like These). It is a shame that you cant listen (yet) to this cd-online. Just Buy it you will love it." Trip-hop at Its Finest Michael | United States | 08/13/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "If there was every a group who deserved to have some samples on Amazon it would be this group. The best I could find before buying this was a remix by Fila Brazillia of "Asthma" on Napster and a 50 sec sample of "New Blues" from their label's homepage. The Fila Brazilla remix gives you a good filling for the vocals on this album--although the remix, while good in its own right, is not nearly as good as the actual track, IMHO. The music is first-tier trip-hop along with the likes of Hooverphonic, Mono, Morcheeba, Massive Attack and so on. The cover art gives a good visual picture of what the music is generally like. Imagine the lush, ethereal sounds of Trip-hop at night and traveling through a dreamy, but somewhat haunting, Egypt. They use bits of jazz, hip-hop, conga drums, and a LOT of bass and put it all together nicely, making for some very beautiful and creative new music. This album debuts another great artist in this genre If you are a fan of trip-hop, there is no doubt you will fall in love with this album."
