"This is Gina Bachauer at her peak! A wonderful and thoughtful performance. Her scales glitter like delicate pearls, specially in the 4th Concerto, while in the 5th she captures the drama of the music without being cerebral."

"Note pour universal : au lieu de rééditer les CD du sempiternel Pavarotti, rééditez d'urgence les disques de Gina Bachauer ainsi que le reste des CD de Mercury Living Presence qui menacent de disparaitre faute de réédition. Merci d'en prendre note et de faire le necessaire. Ces disques ne doivent plus quitter le catalogue, sous aucun prétexte."
