"Although Wolfgang Amadeus' piano concerti are superior, his son does have a lot of interesting things to say through his pieces. Both piano concerti are good, but No. 2 in E flat is the better of the two. The E flat concerto contains charming melodies, dazzling technical passages, and interesting harmonies. The C Major concerto, while pretty, is not harmonically complex in the least. Nevertheless, this CD is worth buying. F. X. Mozart was an excellent pianist and a skilled composer. The musicians performing these two pieces do them justice... I think you'll agree once you've heard this disc."
