"Rock n Roll Wasteland is a great little rock album that really cooks. It's loaded with killer guitar riffs, jammin' solos and quirky, funny lyrics. I especially like the song "the Rockinest Band", about a band that thinks it's great but hasn't made it yet. The '70s-era power chord riff at the beginning is accompanied by lyrics like "We're working on a demo of our 5 best songs/So we've got one more to write/But it shouldn't take long". Or in the clever "Falling Into You", I like the way they describe falling in love: "Falling into you/Coming down like a brick/Didn't think it could happen/Didn't think it would stick." I highly recommend this album--it's like indie rock for grown-ups. You'll be cranking these songs on your car stereo for sure."
