"This one is a sleeper! As a matter of fact so is Pinky, which is a shame beacuse she's a great one. You really have to dig for a while before you find her somewhere below most people's radar. I believe this was her second album from the mid to late 50s and it's wonderful. Pinky isn't a flashy vocalist, but her appeal is pretty universal. She has a clear, unadorned, unmannered, pure sound that is the definition of timeless. Both ballads and swinging numbers are effortless. She's actually still around 50 years later and has her own website. Check it out. She recorded infrequently over the years, but what there is is great stuff and this is one of her best."
