PITCHSHIFTER HAVE REALLY EXCELLED THEMSELVES HERE, IT IS A MUCH MORE ACCESSIBLE ALBUM THAN 'SUBMIT' 'INDUSTRIAL', 'DESENSITIZED' OR EVEN 'INFOTAINMENT' BUT LOSES NONE OF IT'S AGRESSION AND INTENSITY IN THE MIX. "im a huge fan of digital hardcore, you know, atari teenage riot, ec8or, f noise and their ilk, and ive owned this cd since way before i started listening to that stuff. i realized after listening to this again not long ago that pitchshifter, at their core, are a digital hardcore band (at least on THIS particular album, earlier records (before infotainment) are much more metal driven, and later albums are a little nu-metalish). viewed as a dhc album, this record is really really good and very diverse, and accessible to anyone unlike most dhc bands. its too bad pitchshifter were never involved in that scene because they could have gained quite a few new fans."
