"You have all their U.S. releases. You are ready to enter import territory and are wondering if this is a good buy. "Sweet Soul Revue," "The Night is Still Young," "Groovy is My Name,"--you've heard them before, so are there enough goodies to justify the import price?Oh yes. The funky, upbeat "Let's Be Adult" shimmers with fun, and the remix of "On The Sunny Side of The Street" brings out the more somber aspects of the lyrics from the original on "Overdose." "Thank You" is a fine collage of a song (starting with a news report of a police shooting, in English) and listening to "Tout Va Bien" will leave you wondering why it was left out of "The Sound of Music" in favor of, say, "Sweet Thursday." Even the old is new here--you get to enjoy the Japanese versions of Happy Sad (live!), Magic Carpet Ride (complete with a psychedelic solo at the end), and Catchy and CDJ (both of which saw better versions released in the U.S., in my opinion). All in all a very cohesive compendium of Konishi and Nomiya's work (where's K-taro?) that's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.Complete track listing: We Love Pizzicato Five - Sweet Soul Revue - The Night is Still Young - Groovy is My Name-Twiggy Twiggy - Let's Be Adult - CDJ - On The Sunny Side of The Street - Happy Sad - Catchy - Thank You - Magic Carpet Ride - We Love Pizzicato Five (a somewhat tacky orchestral medley) - Tout Va Bien."
