Martin | Connecticut United States | 01/18/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "My god, if Journey had somehow ended up with Micheal Kiske in their latest round of singer-switcheroo, the result would be pretty much this record. The heavy-but-not-that-heavy guitars, lush harmonies, solid hard-hitting drums, and the oh-so-smooth but still powerful vocals courtesy of Mr. Kiske. I'm sure he is quite weary of the comparisons to Helloween that come with every release bearing his name. Place Vendome needs none of that. It stands alone as a solid piece of work, and with a new album on the way (Feb.20)hopefully grows into something that could involve live performances."
