Planeside may be the very definition of a rock n' roll power trio. Their sound is aggressive and raw- vocals colored by cigarettes and all-nighters with slinky riffs and thunderous grooves- it rocks. Planeside's influences span a wide range from the underground DIY icons to the celebrated classic rock legends and modern innovators. Having opened for the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Helmet, Chevelle, Sum 41, Pennywise, Hawthorne Heights and The Used, the range of artists they've played with along with their talent and accessibility has quickly established them as a band to watch - most recently in 2005 as Best Hard Rock Band by local paper The Fairfield County Weekly.
