After writing their first international hit ("Loser") in high school and playing sold-out shows with the Hives, the Slits and Iggy Pop across Europe while still teenagers, it was never going to be long before Katty Besnard (vocals), Marine Neuilly (guitar), Anais Vandevyvere (drums), and Louise Basilien (bass) needed a few new continents to conquer.

Once the month long tour is over, the band will be packing up their vanity cases permanently to move to L.A., after falling for the city while recording their latest record About Love in Malibu earlier this year. Out on August 4 via their new home of NYLON Records, it s an album of stylishly sexy candy-punk that was produced by Butch Walker (Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne) and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer (Muse, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand). Butch saw us playing Nancy Sinatra s These Boots Are Made For Walking and immediately fell in love with us, explains Vandevyvere of the origins of the garage-pop collaboration. The result is also the first time the girls have written the majority of their songs in English rather than their native French.
