Joe Pass's final statement.

"I have read that this was the last session that Joe did before his untimely death in 1994.
Even though he was gravely ill during this recording you'd never detect any problems. His level of excellence is maintained throughout. Pass doesn't opt for easy C & W chord changes either although the songs are harmonically simple for someone of his standard. The material consists of Hank William's greatest hits like "Hey, Good Lookin". etc.
Roy Clark adds another dimension by way of his "Heritage" guitar tone and oblique country bends. They both sound like they are having fun which is what it is all about.
Every track is wonderful so it's difficult to choose a standout."
